For those of you who know me personally, you know all about my great obsession with New York City. For those of you who are just getting to know me, please be warned as I’ll be making endless posts about my passion for this beautiful and mysterious city. Today, I would like to share my favorite street styles from New York Fashion Week – Fall 2016.
I must confess that I’m absolutely in love with these monochromatic ensembles. The multiple layers of textures creates great depth and dimension allowing them to become striking outfits. Ladies, you must give this a try! Don’t be afraid to wear separates of one color that have different textures or color shades. Trust me, you’ll love incorporating monochromatic dressing to your style.
Here we have the same concept, all black from head to toe but adding a few statement pieces; coat and clutch (WOW, so beautiful) turning these looks extra chic and trendy.
For those of you who don’t know her and I’m sure it’s very few of you … this is Camila Coelho. She is a fashion blogger and one of my faves. Who else loves this feminine look worn by Camila? I know what you gals are saying … me, me, me, me!!! So here are the details: she wore a BCBG Collection Dress, Kate Spade coat (similar styles H&M and Diane Von Furstenberg), Stuart Weitzman boots, Dior Sunglasses, and Be Dior Bag.
The next four looks are very different in style but I have gravitated to them equally. If you have been to the city … scratch that … if you have ever been somewhere cold, you know that it’s all about staying warm while remaining stylish. These outfits have one thing in common: layering! Fall is the season for layering so you must master this technique ASAP. Remember to incorporate cozy sweaters, leather pants, knee length boots and scarfs to your every day basics and you’ll bring your outfits to the next level.
Don’t forget to always remain true to yourself and have fun with it. Till next time my gorgeous Muses of Style!
