WYNWOOD DINER

Sunday brunch is my favorite weekend delights so I will be making posts and reviews of the restaurants I visit. There is an endless list of places one may visit but this weekend we opted for Wynwood Diner. This diner is located in the heart of Miami’s most creative neighborhood: Wynwood.

Wynwood Diner Vibes

The décor is a modern take on the classic American diner. “With three distinct yet harmonious spaces, from the diner to the café to the outdoor patio, each area flows into the next, inviting guests to wake up with a coffee, host a lunch meeting or end the day with dinner and cocktails with friends”. Or  in my case, a great brunch date with the girls.

Now, I must get into the most important part; the food and drinks. I ordered the avocado salad, royal Benedict, and churro waffle & berries. They were all-delicious but I must admit my favorite was the avocado salad. I am a French toast type of girl but decided to try the waffles so my review may be tainted due to this. I found the waffles a little hard and not moist enough but my friends who are waffle eaters said they were great. The royal Benedict was a great choice and I truly enjoyed the hash brown pairing. (The picture below is the brisket Benedict. I was really hungry so forgot to take a picture of mine … lol).

Moving to the drinks, they do not offer bottomless mimosas so for some of you this might be a deal breaker. Each mimosa comes out to $10 a flute so keep this in mind if you decide to check them out.

Our overall experience was very a pleasant one. Catching up with my friends was amazing plus the vibes that this diner were ones that would have me going back for more.

p.s. They have a DJ in the lounge area so be sure to request a table there!
