Why did I join Monat?
When I was originally asked the question, why did I join Monat?, my initial answer was because “I want to continue my journey to clean products.” The fact that I could make money on the side was just a small incentive as I didn’t see the vision from the begin. Ask me that question now and boy has my perspective changed.
Once again, why did I join Monat?
So, let’s fast forward 4 and 1/2 months from when I joined and let me explain what I wish I could have seen from day one.
Looking back at the time when this opportunity was presented to me, I was a total skeptic, uneducated on the success of network marketing, and full of excuses! Yes, I said it. I was looking for any and every reason not to join the business. My “type A” personality took me on a wild goose chase to figure out the catch.
The reality is that there is no catch! This is not a scam, pyramid scheme, or whatever else you may want to call it. Network marketing is a legitimate business. If done right it is a great way to build wealth. Yes, you need to put in the work. You’ll have sleepless nights, frustrations, disappointment but nothing great comes easy. The fact is the business model is simple but not easy. It is a duplicatable process that ANYONE willing to put in hard work can succeed at.
Before seeing the vision of what Monat truly is, I thought my life was good. I was comfortable with my 9-5. Heck, I was working remotely from the comfort of my home. I’m not going to lie and say, I was fully content with my career. I’ve always envisioned owning my own businesses; a clothing boutique and a non profit organization to be exact but I was pretty happy to have the flexibility to work from home in my pajamas, spoiling my fur babies whenever they wanted and being home when my husband arrived from work.
So, what is so special about Monat you may ask!
There are many reasons from the gratitude program to the most amazing community of empowering women but for this post I’ll concentrate on something else. More details to come on this in the near future but for now let’s get back to our regular programing.
What makes Monat so special to me is that it has become the vehicle to pursue all my dreams and goals!! I know this sounds very deep but hear me out.
My real passion since I was a little girl has been to give back to others. I have the most beautiful memories of my grandfather “Papilato” helping those in his community however he could. This made a huge impact in my life and my goal has always been to figure out a way in which I could positively touch as many lives as possible. I find this to be my life purpose! I had no idea how I would do it, I just knew that I could.
Monat has giving me the opportunity to do just that. I get to mentor women and men to pursue a life that they never imagined and if they did, it seemed like it could never happen. Yes, this is what this opportunity means to me now. Giving back is not what we do it’s who we are.
It’s crazy to know how one decision could impact someones life so deeply but here I am telling my story and feeling a sense of fulfillment I have never experienced before. I’m a baby to this business and I’m still learning the ins and outs yet I know in my core that this will continue to change my life as I know it.
