The Miami Design District, also known as MDD, is a must-see when visiting Miami. If you are a fashion enthusiast like myself, make sure you make a day out of it. MDD is a neighborhood dedicated to innovative fashion, design, architecture, and fine dining experiences.

While walking around the Miami Design District, you’ll find a variety of designer stores such as Gucci, Celine, Alice + Olivia, Hermes, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Harry Winston, Dior, Prada, Valentino, Tiffany, and the list goes on. A girl can always dream, right! I love admiring all the beautiful displays as they remind me of Fifth Avenue but with much better all year weather.
There is an exquisite selection of eateries. Michael’s Genuine, OTL, Estefan Kitchen, Mandolin Aegean Bistro, Harry’s Pizzeria, and St. Roch Market are my all-time favorites. This area is surrounded with great hidden restaurants so make sure to grab a bite to eat before departing from this Miami gem.
Oh, how can I forget! Unique architectural structures and art pieces can be spotted everywhere. You’ll get some great photographs in every street corner. I must recommend one last thing …. WEAR flats. There is a lot of walking to do and you don’t want to end up with blisters or having to leave early just to look cute. But, here is a little trick on how you look stylish for your photos and comfortable while exploring. Do what I do, bring an oversize purse with your high heels, therefore, you can take outfit of the day photos yet walk around the district all day long.
